Community Council Meeting, March 13, 2019, 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Minutes
Review & Ratify Minutes
-Jason Hyer motioned to ratify minutes and Laurie Key seconded the motion. All were in favor.
Plan Reviews
*2019-2020 Plan
-Council members reviewed the final 2019-2020 Trustland Plan and budget.
*Imagine Learning and Aleks were added as action steps to help achieve the reading and math goals and those final costs now were included in the budget.
*The council agreed that the plan aligned with what had been discussed.
*Heather Hales informed the group that the plan had been submitted and approved at the district level. It had been submitted for review to the Utah State Board of Education.
Discovery Night
*The council was informed that a Discovery Night to showcase Project Lead the Way (STEM) activities will be held on April 24th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
*Teachers, Shawna Blamires and Michelle Gerritsen, are the coordinators and will be assisted by other faculty members.
*Carlene Sommers volunteered the help of her sons who have been involved with Project Lead the Way throughout high school.
Next meeting:
*It was agreed that there was not a need for an April meeting.
