Roy Cone/Weber School District Parent Night

Annually, each cone in the Weber School District holds a "Parent Night" where state-mandated topics are covered (internet safety, suicide prevention, bullying prevention and drug/alcohol prevention) and resources are provided.

This year, we are excited to announce the Weber School District has scheduled a district-wide "Parent Night." on Monday, October 1st, from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Roy High School in the large auditorium.

The keynote speakers are Collin Kartchner and Dr. Katey McPherson.  These engaging, sought-after presenters have been traveling state-to-state and addressing full venues about subject matter that is ultra-releveant for today's youth.

Their presentation is titled #SAVETHEKIDS.  The focus of their remarks is "What every parent needs to know about screen time/device use and social media's impact on your child's well-being and safety."  They will cover a wide-range of topics, including:

-Balancing screen time and device use;
