The purpose of this information is to provide resources that will help you prepare for your child to begin a new school year. Below is a suggested list of instructional items/school supplies our students will use in their grade during the 2024-2025 school year.  NOTICE:  The items on this list will be used during the regular school day.  These items may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.  A student may be required to replace supplies provided by the school which are lost, wasted, or damaged by the student through careless or irresponsible behavior.

Second Grade - Supply List

Notice: The items on this list will be used during the regular school day.  These items may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.

A suggested list of instructional items/school supplies:

*1 SMALL zipper pouch or pencil box

*Glue Sticks 

*Dry Erase Markers (Extra Donations are always welcome)

*Corded Headphones (No Bluetooth please)

*1 inch Binder

The following non-instructional items are “appreciated donations:”

*Paper Towels

*Tissue boxes

*Disinfectant Wipes

*Ziploc Bags-Any size is welcome

*Hand Sanitizer

*1 ream of white copy paper

These types of items may be dropped off in your student’s classroom and will also be used during the regular school day.

A list of things to NOT bring:

  • Extra folder, binders, notebooks  or organizers (they take up too much space in the desks)
  • Mechanical pencils, colored pencils or pens
  • Please do not bring glue bottles, pencil sharpeners, or markers.
  •  Please do not allow your child to bring toys and other personal items to school.

2nd Grade Team

We welcome any/all donations (supplies and/or $) on behalf of our students!  All donations we receive will be utilized during the regular school day, during instructional activities.  Monetary/cash donations may be used to help us fund field-trips and/or other learning activities we feel are important in helping our students grow and develop and to purchase instructional resources for our students.  Monetary/cash donations in any amount under $250 may be mailed/dropped off to the school office.  Donations over $250 must run through the Weber School Foundation for tax-related purposes.  When donating to the Weber School Foundation, indicate you’d like the donation to benefit Midland and your student’s grade.
