Meeting Minutes (2024-1-2)

Community Council Minutes        Date: 1/2/23

Community Council Members present :  Jessica Emerson, Tami Neff, Ashley Musselman, Cami Nordmann, Jill Gibson, Kevin Chase


Welcome and Introductions by Tami Neff


Review and approve minutes from prior meeting nomination to approve: Jill Gibson  seconded by Kevin Chase.  Vote: Unanimous to approve.


Presentation: Ryan Bohling explained the Child Access and Routing plan with the purpose, the potential concern areas in walking and needing additional sidewalks and crossing guards as well as potential concerns for next year when the boundaries are changed. 


Review of current Land Trust Plan andTeacher and Students Success Plan (TSSA): Kevin Chase went over the financial expenditures to date on the Land Trust Plan as well as how the TSSA plan mirrored the Land Trust Plan for goals and percentages of expenditures. 


Brainstorming for next year’s plan -current plan thoughts, new ideas to consider before Feb6 were brought up including: Keeping reading and math goals, needing to create situations where parents are invited to the school (loved one’s lunch, evening concert/ family nights) and figuring out how to get grandparents here to volunteer.

  • Next meeting when (Proposed Feb 6, 2024 at 3:30) : unanimously agreed that this date and time would work. 

  • Tami Neff proposed that we adjourn the meeting, Cami Nordman seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous to adjourn the meeting.
