Students at Innovation High are learning how to grow plants in a new way through the school’s Hydroponics Club. Instead of using soil, the plants grow in water mixed with nutrients. The students recently harvested fresh lettuce and basil they grew themselves and donated it to the Two Rivers Teen Center. This project shows how new technology can be used for both learning and service, helping provide fresh food to students in need while teaching real-world skills.
