February was an amazing month for Box Tops. The final total was 10,039 Box Tops!!! This earned $1,003.90 for our school. This is a new record. It normally takes 3 or 4 months to collect this many Box Tops. Well done Panthers! Also, a big thanks to Mrs. Reader who counted all of those Box Tops.
March is McDonalds month. The class that brings in the most Box Tops in the month of March will receive a free lunch from McDonalds.
The Midland PTA is currently sponsoring a Cookie Dough & Magazine fundraiser. They are also pushing for a great February of collecting Box Tops.
Red Ribbon Week will be October 28th through November 1st. The theme is "A Healthy Me is Drug Free." Students will participate in a variety of activities.
Posters for the poster contest are due October 24th.

We are having a great year here at Midland Elementary!! We have had some great activities and are excited for the fun things planned in the coming months. Every Wednesday we have Panther Pride Day; this is when the students wear their Midland shirts or school colors of blue and grey. We are selling school shirts with a fun new design this year.
