We have the opportunity to help families in our community again this year for Christmas. We have a tree set up in the library with ornaments that list items that can be purchased for families in need. If you would like to allow your child to pick an ornament they must return the permission slip (http://midland.wsd.net/images/pdf/giving_tree.pdf) with your signature. You may also come and pick an ornament anytime during school hours. All items must be new, unwrapped, and returned by December 13th. We appreciate all of your efforts to help make this Christmas a magical one for families in our community.

Thank you for your generosity!

Canned Food & Money Drive

November 18th-November 22nd

Midland Elementary is holding a "Stuff the Turkey" canned food and money drive.  Canned food items and spare change are being collected the week of November 18-22.  All food and money will be donated to needy families during the upcoming holiday season.

This is a contest between the grades.  Each $1 donated will count as two cans of food.  The winning grade will receive a prize.

Great work Panthers!!!

We reached our Box Tops goal for the month of October, which means the whole school will be having a 'Panther Pajama Day' on November 18th.  Please mark your calendars.

For our safety protocol practice for the month of October, we will be practicing an evacuation to our alternate location. On October 24th, weather permitting, at 9:30 a.m., we will evacuate the school building and have the students walk to the LDS Church located at 2950 West and 4425 South. After the students reach the church, we will have them return to the school and complete the rest of the day as usual.
