On Tuesday, October 30, the Weber-Morgan Health Department will be conducting an immunization clinic at Midland Elementary.  The clinic will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run about two hours.

The flu vaccine will be available for all students.  Additionally, there will be the option for 6th grade students to receive the required vaccinations for 7th grade (Tdap, Varicella, and Meningococcal).

This is an excellent opportunity for students to receive their vaccinations at a low cost.  Most major insurances will be accepted.

Halloween day procedures for Midland Elementary:

• All students will be allowed to wear their costumes to school that day. Please be sure their costume will allow participation in normal school day activities.
• Costumes must meet appropriate school dress code policy.
• Masks will not be allowed.
• Weapon-like accessories are not allowed.
• No Face paint.
• There will not be a costume parade.
• Individual grade levels/classes may be planning their own activities and will share this information with you.

Red Ribbon Week
October 22-24

Did you know, this year is the 30th anniversary of Red Ribbon Week?  Red Ribbon Week was nationally recognized in 1988 to promote an awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  This year, our focus will be about Drugs AND Bullying.  Help us celebrate this week by talking with your children at home about the danges of drugs and the importance of making positive choices.  If your child choose to participate in our daily activities, please be mindful of the school dress code policy.

Theme:  Rally in RED against Drugs AND Bullying
Wear Red clothing

Tuesday

Theme:  Drugs are CrAzY!! Don't get mixed up in them!!
Wear CrAzY Hair and/or mismatched clothing) 

Wednesday

Theme:  TEAM up against Drugs!!
Wear your favorite "team" apparel

Thursday

Theme:  Follow your DREAMS of being drug free.
Wear your pajamas
