Dear Parents/Guardians and Patrons,

The purpose of this letter is to provide information/resources that will help you prepare for your child to begin a new school year. On the following page is a suggested list of instructional items/school supplies our students will use in their grade during the 2020-2021 school year.  NOTICE:  The items on this list will be used during the regular school day.  These items may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.  A student may be required to replace supplies provided by the school which are lost, wasted, or damaged by the student through careless or irresponsible behavior./

Sixth Grade

Notice: The items on this list will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.

 

 

 

 

Davis 6th Grade

A list of things to bring (if you can):

5-6 basic pencils (the classroom sharpener works best on basic yellow school pencils)
A sturdy pencil pouch
A box of colored pencils (12 count)
2 folders (that have the three hole punches so we can put them in a three ring binder)
2 spiral notebooks
5-6 black whiteboard markers 
Small Scissors
3 red pens
cheap pair of headphones (earbuds)
color markers
highlighter 
Glue
One and only one 1 “ three ring binder to keep data
One ream of white computer paper
Computer mouse for the chrome books (this can be wireless if you wish)
 

The following non-instructional items are “appreciated donations:” 

tissues
disinfectant wipes
hand sanitizer
individually wrapped candy

A list of things to NOT bring:

no Extra three-ring binders and trapper keepers (they take up too much space in the desks).
no Extra pens (the pens we have will be used for specific purposes).
no Mechanical pencils (they frequently become toys).
no Personal pencil sharpeners

*pencils (mechanical or regular, whichever your child prefers)

*2 composition notebooks

*1 inch binder

  • Individually wrapped candy

The following items will be used regularly.  If your child would like to have their own to use and keep in their desk rather than use the teacher’s set, they may bring them (please label).
