•Website

*http://www.schoollandtrust.org Training information can be found there, become familiar with it.

•Internet Safety

*A tech from the district will come to teach about Digital Citizenship and will also instruct us about HB 358. (Data students produce should belong to the school and not sold to outside entities. Agreements have to be vetted between our district and the companies.)

•2016-2017 Plan

*Looked over and discussed data (see handouts). Attendance-many students’ parents are opting out of phone call when their child is absent. Average daily attendance is 94-95%.

•2017-2018 Plan

*Discussed updated allocation and expenditures of the plan. Based off the prior discussion of calling parents about absent students; the question was raised if an attendance aide is the best use of funds? Funds could be used for additional math aides in the lower grades. PLC development will help us to change our approach in identifying students who need specific skills that are essential and most important for students to master. This was already put in the plan for additional funds. It could also be used to purchase additional Chromebooks. (Grade level carts ?)

•School Bond Election

*The bond would build two new schools, remodel some older schools (Roy Junior High) and won’t affect our school boundaries.

•Nov. 14, Jan. 9, Feb. 13, Mar. 13, Apr. 17
