Land trust monies will be spent to maintain the services of two paraprofessionals. Children will be identified as intensive, strategic, or benchmark level using the DIBELS. The reading specialist and two paraprofessionals will provide reading intervention services. Small group intervention will be provided for those students identified as intensive in grades K-3. 2. Teachers will be given preparation time to review student data, adjust instruction, and plan lessons for Tier ll interventions. This time will be created when students are working with specialists. The computer specialist will focus on basic computer skills, keyboarding proficiency, and the use of computer-based programs which enhance math and reading instruction. The P.E. specialist will expose students to a number of different physical activities that encourage healthy lifestyles. 3. Teachers will receive professional development.

Goal #2:

Provide all students with music and art experiences bimonthly.

Measurements:

Participation as well as student products and journals created during Fine Arts Mini Experience (FAME) lessons will be reviewed by FAME instructors. Teacher collaborative sessions by grade-level will be held during FAME instruction time.

Students attended 24 FAME Lessons throughout the year.

Students created FAME journals and art projects during the year.

Action Plan Steps:

Land trust monies will be spent to maintain the services of three FAME instructors. These instructors will teach students 24 FAME lessons throughout the school year. During this time classroom teachers will be released from their classrooms to collaborate with each other. They will use the time to review standards, curriculum, instruction, and student data to better meet the learning needs of all students. They will also participate in professional development.
