The Midland Peer Leaders are sponsoring the 3rd Annual Red Cross Community Blood Drive. The blood drive will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Their goal is to receive donations totalling at least 30 pints.
Children who will be five years of age before September 2, 2016 are about to embark on a wonderful, exciting adventure. At this time, we are conducting a survey of our school community to locate our incoming kindergarten students.
If you have a child eligible for kindergarten, please download and complete this form (click HERE). You may also get a copy of the form at the school. Please complete and return the form to Midland Elementary by March 11, 2016. Completing and returning this form lets us know you will be attending the round-up. The kindergarten round-up date is March 30, 2016, 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Dear Weber School District Parents/Guardians,
Weber School District values stakeholder input as part of our education evaluation and improvement process. We are seeking feedback from parents and guardians regarding their student’s teacher(s) and support staff. The information collected from the surveys will be used to inform and increase educator effectiveness in our schools. We are asking for your participation.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held February 3-5.
|The AmeriCorps Read Graduate Succeed program is looking for volunteers to help with our reading program.
We have times available both in the morning and afternoon. Our tutoring days are Monday & Thursday or Tuesday & Thursday. These are 30 minute one on one sessions with a student. Training and a background check is required before you start but is very easy to complete and there is no cost involved.
The education process requires continuous instruction, class participation, and study. Frequent absences from class disrupt this instructional process. Success in school is dependent upon good attendance. All the schools that send students to Roy High have chosen attendance as a focus this year. This combined effort is an attempt to increase Roy High's graduation rate. In an effort to help our students with attendance we are implementing a new process of communicating with parents about attendance issues at Midland Elementary. We are asking for your support in securing the regular attendance of your student.
