The start of school is rapidly approaching. Many are busy shopping for school clothes, shoes, and supplies.
The start of school also means it is time to complete registration. In an effort to streamline this process, registration for elementary students is now available at https://myweber.wsd.net. To complete the registration process using MyWeber, you will need to login using your parent account. Once you have logged in, click on "Register Students" in the top right corner. You will be asked to acknowledge that you are the parent or guardian of the student. Complete the process by following the steps outlined.
Below are policies specific to our school:
|The AmeriCorps Read Graduate Succeed program is looking for volunteers to help with our reading program.
We have times available both in the morning and afternoon. Our tutoring days are Monday & Thursday or Tuesday & Thursday. These are 30 minute one on one sessions with a student. Training and a background check is required before you start but is very easy to complete and there is no cost involved.
During the 2014-2015 school year, students in grades 3-12 took the Student Assessment of Growth and Excellence (SAGE). Individual student results can be viewed by logging into MyWeber at https://myweber.wsd.net. Assessment results can be found for each student in the "Documents" section under their name.
You can learn more about SAGE at: http://midland.wsd.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=314:sage-results&catid=9&Itemid=435.
The results of SAGE (Student Assessment of Growth and Excellence) Assessments for the 2013-2014 school year have been released to the public.
You can view the results for Midland Elementary at: https://datagateway.schools.utah.gov/SAGE?leaNum=35&schNum=123.
The education process requires continuous instruction, class participation, and study. Frequent absences from class disrupt this instructional process. Success in school is dependent upon good attendance. All the schools that send students to Roy High have chosen attendance as a focus this year. This combined effort is an attempt to increase Roy High's graduation rate. In an effort to help our students with attendance we are implementing a new process of communicating with parents about attendance issues at Midland Elementary. We are asking for your support in securing the regular attendance of your student.
